A Product Research Manager is a professional responsible for leading and overseeing the research and analysis efforts related to a company's products. This role combines aspects of product development, market research, and consumer insights to ensure that products meet customer needs and business objectives.
Job Descriptions:
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for innovation
- Develop and maintain product roadmaps, balancing business goals with technical feasibility
- Understanding of modern software engineering principles, including SOLID design principles and microservices architecture.
- Working as part of a team to design and implement enterprise level such as ERP, CRM, HRIS and Mobile Apps.
- Translation of User Stories into source code on various technical platforms and within waterfall or agile delivery environments.
- Experiment with new & relevant technologies and tools, and drive adoption while measuring yourself on the impact you can create.
- Responsible for the architecture of your product; ensuring it is aligned to the requirements and the charter.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or other relevant fields.
At least 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in ERP, CRM, HRIS, etc
Experience with one or more Front End development technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SASS, AJAX and JSON
Experience with one or more JavaScript libraries and/or frameworks such as ReactJS, Node.js, Ember, AngularJS, Backbone etc.
Experience with one or more Backend libraries and/or frameworks such as Spring Boot, Micronaut, Quarkus,.
Have knowledge of at least one of the databases like MySQL, Postgresql or Oracle and one of the NOSQLs like DynamoDB, MongoDB,
Cassandra, Aerospike, etc.
Experience
with source/version control software such as SVN & Git The following skills
and experience would be preferred but are not essential
