Security Engineer
As an IT Security Engineer you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and enhancing security control. This role requires a proactive individual with strong technical expertise in security tools and technologies, and the ability to respond to security incidents efficiently.
Job Requirement :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2 - 6 years of experience in IT security.
- Proficiency with SIEM tools such as Splunk, ArcSight, QRadar, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of security concepts, including threat detection, incident response, and log management.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CEH, ENSA, ECSA) are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Job Description :
- Stay updated with the latest security threats, technologies, and industry trends, and provide recommendations to enhance security posture.
- Implement security controls, maintain, and ensure these controls operate effectively at all times.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and risk assessments to identify and prioritize potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
- Engage in incident response activities, including incident mitigation, investigation, impact analysis, and post-incident recovery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security requirements are integrated into the design, development, and implementation processes of systems and networks.
- Implement and tune configurations on security devices such as SIEM, EDR, Antivirus, Firewall, Domain Controller, IDPS, and similar.
